Fundraising Officer (2-year contract, Renewable)

[Ref.: FCU/FOPP/24/01]

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of fundraising strategy and programmes for major giving via mailings, telemarketing & personal communications, etc.
  • Assist to explore potential fundraising opportunities
  • Conduct market research and data analysis, identify potential major giving donors and opportunities
  • Prepare fundraising proposals and reports, presentation materials and correspondences with donors
  • Strengthen and cultivate the loyalty of the donors in different ways
  • Explore and coordinate legacy giving activities and beneficiary events
  • Update donor database and handle donation matters timely
  • Provide administrative support for day-to-day operation of the team
  • Assist in other fundraising and agency events

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing or relevant disciplines with at least 5 years charitable fundraising or marketing experience, preferably at NGO/INGO setting
  • Good at communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outgoing, presentable, energetic, proactive and enthusiastic
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and meet expected timelines
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, and fluent Putonghua
  • Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and Chinese word processing
  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Fundraising Officer II
